My views regarding relationships and how it is like to be a nonbeliever base in the reality of life and not in a form of fairy tales and forever afters.

For now, I don’t believe in a so called relationship but I do believe in love, it’s just I want to commit to something more different, something I really like and want to do and something I want to devote myself into, that for now, it’s not a relationship, it’s not a boy and girl thing, it’s more on activities, career, selfless undertakings, a thing that could help many individuals. Those might sound corny, jologs or whatever yet those are the things I want to do.

I don’t even need someone who will ruin stuff for me because I could ruin it all by myself. I could be happily in love but jumping to the next level of it, such as “labels”, “boyfriend-girlfriend”, “in a relationship” and more are not included (yet) in the list. A hater is different to a nonbeliever, self-explanatory.

There could be someone very special to me but I don’t want to demolish the “specialty” in a way of being uncertain or ambivalent with respect to “relationship”.  So many choices out there concerning with life and love, and yes. This is my choice.

On love:

Love is sacred, it doesn’t require playing and stupidity (that you can actually get from a relationship, the usual–I’m not bitter, just speaking for reality). It comes from the inner being with willingness and ability. A life full of true and unconditional love is good, it gets better everyday, it should be without complications, restrictions and worries.

The second State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Benigno “NoyNoy” Aquino III was expected to be illogical, to have too little or none of substance and just a replay of the previous SONA he did, but at some point, it was really a contrary of those expectations, it rotated a total 360 degrees from the prior. Although people are bearing bellicose as a part of being, not having much of understanding about the government that was actually (according to the SONA) trying its best to become better, a higher quality than the average and to prove that this country can gain the most positive marks and points when it comes to progress.

People, being belligerent and entails negative points and opinions that exaggeratedly want to condemn the current administration; not much of a good point that the current provision is getting. I’m sure they are working on that with all the transparency that they can do and with all the information that they have given the people for the past year up to present. I think, it’s time that we should listen, think, understand and reflect on what the president is trying to tell us.

This is not me being Pro-NoyNoy or so, but this is me, in favor of the progress that everybody’s talking about and dreaming of. For me, the improvement of this country should not just be on the hands of our president but also in ours. Changes, Improvements and all positive substances may vary also into the things we are looking for, considering preferences, interests, ideas, comments, and opinions and what should be done to accomplish those. Others are being radical and agitates dearly, having shallow understanding and the most prominent.. being judgmental, thinking that we all need to work hard to achieve what we want, to pursue what we need to pursue and to be meritorious in all endeavors we are about to face. These are the requirements for us to have a better country and for us to be a better person; work out on how to be a pacifist, in a way that we can be able to do what’s right, in a way of not being exaggerated about sympathy or understanding thus cruel some and over acting manner on those aren’t the best way to persist.

Take note that our president isn’t a magician, it’s not easy to be on the position with all those massive responsibilities; let us bear with him for the rest of his term or for the next State of the Nation Address, it’s too early to tell what would be the outcome of all of his projects. Don’t leave all the work to our president, we need to do our part to help him overcome the obstacles our country is currently facing, for lately we are being to judgmental about stuff.

Digged the news this morning, and I was highly affected of the innovations regarding illegal stuff. Would you believe that there’s a “Shabu-spread” already? I don’t have any idea why people do such a thing, what do they get from those kind of drugs? Aren’t they scared? This “Shabu-spread” is pretty wow, it uses bread for drug transactions, whatta highly innovative fuckery idea huh?! But why not use those splendorous ideas for something better? (Yes, running compassion)

Living in the third world is fun, you may want to strive harder, be educated, learn things in life, and many other ways to improve your being, nature, government and so on; but on the other aspect of it, it is hard (self-explanatory), and this kind of news makes me sick. People, we want to be successful and our country wants to be rich, well-rounded and all positive dealings and so, right? But what are we doing now? We should do good instead and pledge on the sublime.

Well, this thought is not much innovative compare to theirs. Not really being a hero or whatever here, but this stuff is like a bell ringing, deafening our ears telling us “notice me, notice me, change for the better”.

 Oh well, enough for this day, stop the negativity.

Battered Woman: Why Don’t They Just Leave?

Violence against women is a problem of international proportions, and nowhere is a woman in greater danger than in her own home. Tragedy of the violence extends beyond the physical and emotional injuries of woman. That with these aspects, children were also affected and also formed and showed some tendency of being battered. That is why children witnessing this situations in their own families has the tendency to be violent and portray what they saw, believing that these are the right things to do. According to some researches, boys who have witnessed their fathers beating their mothers are actually 24 times more likely to commit sexual assault than are boys with non violent fathers and 74% more likely to commit violent crimes in general. These individuals who witness their mother being battered are six times more likely to commit suicide and the girls are more likely to engage in teenage prostitution.

Inspite of all those violence and injuries that women are actually facing, the hanging question is, “Why does SHE stay?” and we begin to ask more contrary to the first one, “Why should a woman and her children have to leave in order to protect themselves and achieve peace?” Perhaps, you might say because of love, memories, concern for the children, foolishness and many other forms. Depending to what principle that they stand for. But on historical perspective,

“A dog, a wife and a cherry tree, the more ye beat them the better they be.”

Women should learn how to protect themselves and should know how to say stop when they had already enough of this violence. Battered women are considered strong but they just don’t have enough guts to leave and speak up for what they want, not because they are scared or afraid but because they are brave to face all of this trials for their family (most of the time). For those who already leave home for a new life is the perfect decision. Each woman don’t deserve an animal kind treatment that in fact, animal should be treated right also.

Nowadays, women are not anymore considered as inferior than men. They have attained the level of balanced and in reality speaking, women today are dominating. They could freely speak up for themselves, stand up for their rights, fight for the improvement and reach the point that they are being knowledgeable than men.

Today, there are no place for women inferiority anymore, those days are over. Women are brave, can fight and lead.
Yes Women, we can! Say NO to violence, women should be respected. Women should be loved.

Why do some people have a high self-esteem and others low? Maybe because of a good interaction with other people or the place they lived in and many other circumstances involved. As we discussed about the Self-Esteem Theory in class, it also reflects that having low self-esteem is not just about being shy or discreet but also being insecure and telling false stories about other people, just a sign that they are not capable of accepting their own self, that’s why they are making false information just to have something to talk about, maybe they can gain some acceptance from others, turning other people down to attain self-fulfillment.

When I was in high school, I’ve been bullied by my classmates, specifically one group of girls whom I used to be friends just before hand. They will always tell false stories about me and thinking that I’m a drama queen at class because I’ve been too quiet for sometime due to family related problems and sometimes I just don’t feel like talking to anyone, going through a self-discovery and self personality building at early times. There was a time when our teacher assigned a group work and I was actually grouped with them, as we do the work I could feel that they don’t really like me, they don’t want to be with me or even talk to me and they would just laugh behind my back. They would tell others that I’m so irritating, they don’t want to be friends with me and I’m not a really good friend at all, the false stories even reached other sections and passed from one person to another with additional false information. I felt like I was not deserving to have friends, so I did stuff alone, engaged myself into music, some art, films and Batman related things. If Batman can live alone and do things in a tactful way, why can’t I? I winded it up just like what he did. Less talk, less fight. Even when I verbalize something or not, people will still say something not so nice about me, they are fond of making judgments without really even knowing what’s going through with the person they are whining up. But that’s one part of reality; we couldn’t force everyone to show relish on us, considering that we have different choices and preferences.

My teacher even talked to me about it, telling me that what I’m doing like being silent about the issue, not having fights with those girls and doing my work well were just the right things to do. I learned with those devastating words that I should remain discreet and not to care at all, because I can’t please everybody anyway. As long as I know that I’m not stepping into someone and I’m not turning anyone down, I’m fine with it. Apparently, I had low self confidence because of that experience, but just so I thought that being humble or showing great humility is indeed the having the highest self-esteem. Helping myself to build up personality efficiency that can help me to believe that I can overcome obstacles or challenges and I can achieve my goals in life.
